Jackie Wills has published five collections of poetry. She was shortlisted for the 1995 TS Eliot prize and in 2004 was one of Mslexia magazine’s 10 new women poets of the decade. She trained as a journalist and has earned her living as a writer since 1978. A former Royal Literary Fund Fellow, Wills has worked with Rambert Dance and the London Symphony Orchestra, in schools, colleges, galleries, businesses and community groups. She has poems in several anthologies including Writing Motherhood (Seren, 2017) and Poems of the Decade: An Anthology of the Forward Books of Poetry (Forward Arts Foundation, 2015). She’s been involved in major fundraising arts events in Brighton. She has just finished a new collection about growing vegetables and ageing and a travel memoir.
