Kathryn Evans’s debut, More of Me, was published by Usborne in 2016 – it was nominated for the Carnegie medal, won the Edinburgh International Book Festival First Book Award and the SCBWI Crystal Kite for UK and Ireland. It may have taken fifteen years of trying, but once  published  More of Me was shortlisted for multiple awards and has sold rights around the world. In addition to writing a new Secret Project for Usborne, Kathryn is a popular speaker in schools, is  Co-Regional Advisor for SCBWI British Isles, (helping to support published and unpublished writers and illustrators in the UK), she runs a farming business, fences competitively and belly dances for fun.
