Opening event at Opus Theatre with Festival Patron, Sir David Hare

Opening event and drinks reception.

Sir David Hare – playwright and essayist – has never permitted his poetry to be published or read in public before.

At the opening ceremony of the inaugural Hastings LitFest (for which he is Patron), Sir David will explain why he has felt nervous about sharing his poetry with the wider world. The actor Julian Sands will then give a reading of Sir David’s Poetry in public for the first time.
