Ed Boxall recently illustrated Moonstruck, an anthology of poems inspired by the 50th anniversary of the moon landings.
Join Ed for an exciting mix of drawing and creative writing activities inspired by the moon and the poems and illustrations in Moonstruck. There will be something for everyone- a pick n mix of short poetry, drawing, printing and collage activities for all ages.
All the activities are based on techniques Ed uses in his own illustration and writing.
Ed will also be performing a selection of his spaciest poems and songs.
Ed is an artist, writer and performer based in Hastings, he writes and illustrates books for children, such as his recent one-person poetry collection Me and My Alien Friend.
Moonstruck by Roger Stevens (editor) and Ed Boxall (illustrator), is published by Otter-Barry Books on 6 June.
Tickets are free and must be pre-booked. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Ed Boxall is an artist, writer and creative educator living in Hastings, England.
He work in many areas such as printmaking, small scale book publishing, poetry, storytelling, songwriting and education. Ed has a degree in printmaking (Hull) and an MA in illustration (St Martins, London).
