Become a Friend of Hastings Litfest. Be part of our team.

Festival Friends are individuals (or couples) who wish to support the Festival in a personal capacity.

For a minimum contribution of £500 an individual or couple will be supporting us to bring high-quality literary and cultural experiences to Hastings and St Leonards. From poetry readings to writers’ workshops, panel discussions to author talks, the Festival Friends understand the importance of widening cultural horizons, opening up debate, developing skills, making new connections, and sharing experiences and opportunities with creative individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds.

In return, the Directors of the Festival will invite you as our guests to attend your preferred events during the Festival itself, and at other times during the year, and to smaller and unique occasions when you will have the opportunity to meet and converse with the authors, poets and others appearing at the Festival, and to attend one-off performances, readings and other social occasions.

Festival Friends will be limited to a membership of 30 individuals for each Festival year.
