Pitch your work to a successful agent.

Following on from last year’s hugely popular Meet the Agent sessions with Louise Buckley of Zeno Agency, this year we are offering similar opportunities to pitch your book, but across two days.

These are strictly timed 15-minute sessions, which must be booked in advance. They are aimed at authors who have a completed (or nearly completed) manuscript and who wish to receive feedback and advice from a professional agent on the best way of progressing the work towards publication.

Work may be in any style or genre, fiction or non-fiction, and authors may be unpublished or previously published/self-published.

When you have booked your slot and received a payment confirmation reference, you then need to submit the following, as a PDF or Word document, by email, to:

A synopsis of the work, indicating title, genre and approx. word length, and payment reference number.
The first chapter.
Your personal contact details and a short biography.
This information must be received by no later than 1st July 2019 to allow time for the agent to read and assess all the work submitted. We regret that paper submissions cannot be accepted.

You will receive an email from us nearer the date, specifying the time of your meeting slot.

The venue for both sessions is the White Rock Hotel, opposite Hastings Pier.
